Greetings ….Just went up and took another photo. Gosh I never get tired of looking and photo taking of these mountains and lake. You know the reality of retiring and leaving the employment of my beloved Glacier National Park still hasnt hit home totally yet. However in my going up for a photo I did run into an old coworker and after 2 seconds of conversation I realized I didn’t have to listen to his bs no longer…..You know that is a great feeling. anyhow enjoy the photos and I will be getting out in different areas of the park during my breaks from the shopwork. So hang on for the ride…

Greetings…it is the eve of the rest of my life….tomorrow a lifetime of federal service comes to an end. Hopefully it will mean time for a daily report on whatever is going on….of course with the website and the shop and breakfast at coffee traders…it is hard to say….gonna take a couple days to relax and realize the full impact of the whole thing… kind of like the song…I remember when 50 was old……..
Lots of sawdust to create and miles to walk the dog’s as well as all my house husband chores……at least I can now be my own boss

Happy Earth Day….it was a great day in my part of the globe….very nice spring day….how appropriate….

Another great day in heaven…the snow is still piling on the mountain peaks and the running water is doing its best to close the Going to the Sun Road for the year. The battle with mother nature just might be lost this year. It is amazing that anyone really thinks that we humans are in control here, but they do and the government pays them a lot of money to make irrational judgement calls to please the local businesses or the politicians. What ever happened to just serving the common folks whose taxes run the park? I think it is a sad day when they are more interested in their own agendas than in what is good for the whole picture.
Seize the moment and smell the roses…
