Snowing lightly….temps in the 30’s…enjoying a bit of solitude with family…How much better can life get?

Nice crisp morning- 7 degrees..some blue skies, few cloudsnda bit of sun…..
A chinnock has been moving through the past few day..the snow is wet and sloppy..the forecast is calling for colder weather and heavy snow…today for a few moments we had some blue sky and sun…literally less than 5 minutes….but life is still good in the soggy northwest….after a brief break I am once again back at my post helping the masses plan their trip of a lifetime to Glacier National Park…it is a real joy to be able to talk with people excited about spending their precious vacation time to come to my part of the world. It is very humbling and makes me appreciate where I am and what i do…we are truely in God’s country here…have a great day!!.
Greetings ..As the cool heavy clouds hang around most of the area..it is a day for reflection on what the future will bring. It is important to keep all things within the realms of real survival. Remember to take a deep breath and relax..all will be ok…the sun will shine again and the world as we know it will continue to rotate. Take care and see you soon…
WIth the current dark skies a bright sunny day at Avalanche Lake to ponder on…

The cold fingers of this northwestern Montana winter is sinking into everything with the early heavy snows and the cool temperatures. The grey dark skies could cause a weaker person to get into a deep depression. I refuse to subcome to that and am thankful for each day I can arise….Life is to short and simple pleasures are sometimes difficult to grasp ahold and embrace. It is interesting to be out among people and witness the different attitudes which are around. While out for errands in the local community I see people scurrying around doing Christmas shopping and being busy. It doesnt appear a lot of them are very happy people. They are rude and impatient and it seems to me that they should step back and take a deep breath and enjoy each step instead of fighting for the head of the line. It is times like these that i can smile and think it is ok..they do not know any better and perhaps by one persons smile and attitude they might stop and realize what is truely important. On this day of remembering for all the young solders who were in Hawaii many years ago in Pearl Harbor we should also take time to think about all the ones who are far away from home and families during the holidays and every other day. With the fresh breath of air we all have to rmember and be thankful for what we have each day and the sacrafices that were made then and now for each of us. Take a second and smile and wish the next one you see a good day and be thankful…Cheers!!!
Happy Birthday to my baby girl today.. Happy birthday…enjoy the day…as they go faster with each year…
