It is a new day and these sunrises I grabbed yesterday..nice…today is a different day cloudy with chance of something…

Well the trees have began to fall in Apgar to prepare for the multi million dollar “unstaffed” transit center.. sometimes the quality of the thought process amazes me. Visiters won’t use the computer keosks in the visitor center now and we think they will use them when no one is around..interesting thought process or lack of…not sure …….
On a brighter note the historic Glacier sign has been redone and installed replacing the sign that has been in place for a long time. family photo albums will have to be updated now with the new sign.
Weather fronts brought in rain wind lighten thunder..etc…creating a flash flood scare in St Mary today….was a good thing for the 32k+ wildfire burning there…..such it be…chow

Greetings ..it has been a fast, furious, hot and smokey on the east side of the park. The Red Eagle fire now has burned over 30,000 acres has burned from the southern shore of St Mary Lake south and east… A lot of the trails and campgrounds are closed and will most likely stay that way for a while. They say the fire is “under investigation” because there were no lighting strikes in the start area for some time prior to and after the start of this fire. Humans have been really stupid and the cause of a lot of the Montana wildfires this year.
I got a 95 % healed rate on my ankle on friday (8-11-2006) I will still have to wear a ankle wrap and high top boots for some time. I did not retain any fear of the ladder as I am back up on ladder today trying to finish what we started when this whole ankle thing started. Winter is approaching…things have to get done before it arrives.
