Another wonderful day in the land of Oz…the yellow brick road has turned to mud and they are looking for who is responsible…..the snow is gone in lower places…but lots in high places…..The wizard has lost his power and the little are running amuck…..such is life in the big city…..what could be the matter???

Greetings……perhaps spring is actually here….saw my first columbian ground squirrel…and robins are all over….The snow is pretty much gone in lower elevations except where it was piled from sliding off roofs or dumped from being plowed..Those piles will be there for some time….

The Going to the Sun Road was opened up on the west side to Avalanche Creek (16 miles) for vehicles yesterday about mid day….Hikers/bikers may be opened to the Loop soon…lots of snow at higher elevations http://www.nps.gov/glac/gallery/032306.htm
The east side is currently open to the Rising Sun area(6 miles).

Activity is begining most everywhere…..soon our world as we know it will be changed…but that is why we are here to share this spectacular wonder…

Time certainly flies when you are having fun…Just got back from a theme wedding in The Dalles Oregon…Nice trip..we took the new puppies with us and they had a good trip….The wedding I missed because of a family emergency room visit…everyone turned out fine and I have saw the photos and got to attend the reception after….The highlight of the trip for me was the visit on the way home to visit my daughters…grandsons…and son-in-law….it was great to spend time with them…
Today I took the puppies to the vet for more of their shots….they now weight 20.5 pounds apiece and are doing great…will get pictures on site soon…..
Spring has sprung here in Montana..at least at 3400 feet where we live……above 5000 feet it is still very much winter……lots of snow……We have flowers blooming and trees are begining to bud…days are getting warmer and longer hours of sunlight..
Sorry I was away from here so long…I will try and do better……
