Perhaps winter has arrived?….not a lot but everything is white with temps in the 20’s…Have fire going in shop and am heading there for rest of the day…lots of projects to work on.

Named I understand because of the shopping frenzy that occurs in shopping malls everywhere….Not a fun place to be IMHO(in my humble opinion)…For me it is one last day of work before I go on a change of pace for a month…The clouds and fog still has not lifted as of yet…they are forecasting snow storm tonight and all day tomorrow, but then we know how that goes. Was able to spend time in my shop yesterday and last night, working on organizing and laying out new projects…

from gloomy dark North West Montana..It has supposed to be sunny all week, however the inversion has stayed in and locked the sun out. The bright note is that the Washington office has granted us 3 hours early leave…now if I had only taken Friday off it would have been the beginning to a nice long break from NPS work and the beginning of some great work in my shop full time for at least the next month and half, as I slide into my furlough. For all of you who have projects pending for Christmas….I will have them finished and shipped in time for the holidays….I am trying to work in some website updates in between down times in the shop.(glueing,finishing..etc) I always have room for more projects…so let me know if you have something in mind.. Arising to another wonderful day in Northwest Montana…Hard to get use to the darkness until 8ish and dark again before 5ish. Sign of the seasons I reckin…The ground is white and the air is cool..I try and enjoy each day as it comes and make the best of it. Hope you all do the same

Another cool..cloudy..flurries type day here in wonderland…starting to look a bit like Christmas with all the whiteness…Be glad when the snow gets deep enough to x/c ski or snowshoe…seems like it won’t be long…wildlife are active outside my work window. enjoy your day….I am mine…..Cheers

Well so much for the reliability of the National Weather Service. We did get a couple inches of snow..but the big storm hasn’t made it here yet. It is very pretty here with everything covered with snow and temps in the 30’s. I am glad it missed us this time and I suppose I should check out my snowblower and see if it is in running condition…I had intended to see to it earlier…but that was one of the things I just never got around to…The first time I have to push and lift a shovel full of snow will remind me of my procastination… guess I should get to that next…hmmm
I will enjoy the snow covered trees and ground as some of you are basking in sunshine and warm temperatures…..

They say we are in a winter storm warning…we will see….currently it is snowing lightly with temps in the low 30’s…with couple inches on the ground…finally was able to spend some more time on the web site last night into the wee hours. Lots of work but very rewarding to see improvements…..Have to spend time on a homework assignment this morning for my class tomorrow night….then more time on site and some more time in shop working on customers order….until next time take care

From one Vet to another I say thanks and have a great day!!!! We got the day off from work….and I got taken out to breakfast at my favorite place this morning “Montana Coffee Traders” great food and coffee…nice atmosphere and the nicest folks around which run it….Trying to still prepare for winter once I got home…now starting on home work for class..at some point tonite will spend time doing more updates on website….Nice sunny day again ..now have clouds coming in and temps are dropping a bit with some wind…..Have a great Veterans Day!
